Bye-flow

I know I said she’d have high-flow for a while but clearly I misunderstood the neonatologist yesterday because on rounds this morning he decided it was time to try her off it.

Potentially the end of high-flow

Potentially the end of high-flow

We had a pretty good breast feed today. Longest yet but she was a bit grumpy afterwards. I think her will to feed is stronger than her body at the moment.Β  But we are heading in the right direction.Β  GREAT DAY so far.

So lovely to see her whole face and she looks SO good. It must be great to hold her without worrying about the oxygen tubes. Now to get rid of the gastric one…no doubt she’ll have a go herself soon!
