Library Opening!!

Of course we left the bag of books behind and the bookcase I ordered on EBAY was a bit smaller than I imagined. Andrew popped home to pick the books up. Meanwhile mum had her first cuddle with Rose. Rose looked very peaceful and content.

Each book in the library has a bookmark with a note saying it’s been donated by you, Rose’s friends as well as a copy of the Letter to New NICU Mum. Any late deliveries don’t worry. I’ll add them as we go and I’ll plan to pop in each 18 May to repair and clean and add to the library so that it survives for many years to come.

Mum covered all the books beautifully! I’m really pleased with how it looks. Hope you are too. Now it just remains to let the nurses know about it so they can tell new NICU moms.

San popped up with the kids for a quick hello and dropped off some gifts for the boys and Rose!!! Spoilt!

Thank you again to everyone for your support, love and excellent book selections. I particularly like the books with little references to Roses. Noice touch xxx

Hey Jane, what a wonderful blog yesterday! The library looks amazing and the photos of rose with your mum are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing such a special day. Can’t wait to come down and see you all, tho unfortunately we are still fighting various viruses. Hopefully really soon. Big hugs and lots of love xx 🙂

The library looks fantastic Jane! You, Andrew and friends did an amazing job. What a beautiful sight to see Rose in Ann’s arms so snug and secure. We go away on Fri. to stay with Bec, so hope we can still get your updates as Rose is always in my thoughts and on my heart. Will be looking for a book to add to the library (I am out of touch with children’s books now!!).
    Love Lucy xoxo
