Rose had the trans-pyloric tube placed the day before yesterday. It’s yellow so nurses know not to draw back on it and it lasts longer than the tummy tubes – about a month vs a few days.
She hasn’t had a vomit or a destat since Monday night. She looks comfortable and has gained 65g since Monday morning.
It’s 2 months today since she was evacuated. It feels like it’s been 2 months!!
Special mention to the White family today!! Postman handed me three packages this morning, the first from Fi, second from Nicole and third from Ange. Gorgeous books and messages. Thank you. I feel adopted! And Ange – the library would not have been complete without The Velveteen Rabbit – thank you!
My plan is to cover all the books and assemble the bookcase in time for Rose’s due date then put the little library in the parents room on 18th to mark the date that should have been.
Darling girl
Your energy and care for others amazes me. And rose looks so much more peaceful. She is truly a beautiful rose. My love to all. Ursula
Jane, after such a tumultuous week you and Rose deserve some calm. She looks so warm, content and comfy in your arms. xoxo
Yay to Team White today. Pure coincidence.. but cool that we got it together at the same time.
My goodness Rose is James! Just gorgeous Xx
